1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using matterofstocks.com ("MatterOfStocks", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. No investment advice

All content — scores, verdicts, watchlists, AI-generated research, screener results, superinvestor and congress-trade tracking, and any other analysis — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not take into account your individual financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance, and is not personalized advice. Past performance, backtested signals, or track-record statistics shown on this site are not a guarantee of future results. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at matterofstocks@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse rate limits, or attempt to circumvent access controls.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• New accounts start with a free trial as described on the pricing page; no card is required for the trial.
• Paid plans (Premium, Pro) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel.
• Founding member pricing: where advertised as an introductory or founding-member rate, your price is locked in for as long as your subscription stays active without a cancellation gap — it will not increase even if list prices rise later.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; we don't provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• We may change plan features or pricing for new subscribers with notice; existing founding-member pricing is honored per the paragraph above.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-extract, or resell our data or reports without written permission
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or tier-based access restrictions
• Post comments or content that is unlawful, harassing, or that manipulates markets (e.g. coordinated pump-and-dump activity)
• Use the service to provide investment advice to others in a way that would require you to be a registered investment adviser
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the service

Comments and shared lists are moderated: content can be flagged by users and removed by us at our discretion, and we may suspend accounts for repeated violations.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of comments, lists, and other content you post. By posting public content (e.g. a public list, a comment, a public profile), you grant us a license to display it to other users as part of the service. You're responsible for what you post.

8. API access

If your plan includes API access, your use of API keys is subject to the rate limits and usage terms described in your account's API documentation. API keys are personal to your account and may not be shared or resold.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Market data, fundamentals, and AI-generated content may contain errors, gaps, or delays; we don't guarantee real-time accuracy. We are not liable for investment losses resulting from reliance on information provided through the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatterOfStocks and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits or investment losses, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or to comply with legal obligations.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law in the operator's home jurisdiction.
